SENEKO NEWS | SAMARINDA — The Chairperson of the Nusantara Awakening Party (PKN) Anas Urbaningrum during his visit to Samarinda, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), on Monday (17/7/2023) emphasized that PKN supports the development of the Archipelago Capital City (IKN) in East Kalimantan.
"There is great potential, IKN and PKN are very close, that's why I went to East Kalimantan for the first time, yes someone has arranged this, not humans but regulated by nature," he said at the East Kalimantan PKN Regional Leadership Office on Jalan Abdul Wahab Sjahranie.
According to him, PKN and IKN Nusantara have similarities in the basic idea, namely development is no longer Java centric, so that the distribution of development in Indonesia can be felt by people outside the island of Java.
"Hopefully because our basic idea is the revival of the archipelago and the current capital of the archipelago is built in East Kalimantan," he said.
According to him, this is in accordance with Indonesia's commitment echoed by the PKN which has the consequence that Indonesia must move forward together.
"So it should not only progress in certain areas, but all regions must progress," he said.
Indonesia's independence must be manifested in the form of equitable development so that people can benefit from sustainable development.
Meanwhile today, on Friday (21/7/2023), the founder of PKN, Gede Pasek Suardika celebrated his 54th birthday. Dwi Tunggal PKN who are now both 54 years old. Pasek is only 6 days different from Anas Urbaningrum's 54th Birthday celebration (16/7/2023).
